 The Sculpture Studios are located on the ground level of the Studio Arts Building along with ceramics and printmaking.

The Studios are divided into three large work areas and specialized spaces.

The Metal Studio has a 2 ton crane and forklift and is equipted with ARC, MIG and TIG welders, oxy/fuel and plasma torches, horizonal bandsaw, gear head mill, drill press and other standard stantionary equipment.  There is a 10’ roll up door that leds to a large covered outdoor space and yard where the aluminum foundry is located.

The Central Studio adjoins the Metal Studio and has a 30 feet high ceiling which can be utilized for larger scale projects. There is also a walk-in paint spray booth in this space along with a spot welder, 20” and 14” metal bandsaw, 16g slip rolller, tubing roller, 52"-20g brake and hossfeld bender. 

The Wood Studio is fully equipted with with a  18” planer,  6” jointer, panel saw, miter saw, 5hp SawStop table saw,  20” and 14” bandsaws, scroll saw, drill press, lathe and multiple sanders.

Other spaces incude a plaster, plastics and sandblasting room and a large combined studio space for undergraduates working in sculpture. Semi-private graduate studios are conveniently located just outside the studio spaces. At the front on both floors of the building are two large critique spaces with track lighting for reviewing work and creating installions.
