For David Meyer, creating a tangible interpretation of memories becomes the dialogue between comprehension and experience. The exploration of memory and its distortion becomes a mediated process Meyer expresses through the transformation of photographic images into sculptures, and perforated "prints". The rhythm of patterns, akin to typesetting, Braille, newspaper print, pixilated imagery-- each holding a different image for each viewer -- referencing their own memory and reality. - Eileen Tognini
